SOLD - Vintage Copper Ex Apple Butter Kettle In Wrought Iron Stand
Wow! This is such a beautiful unique piece of vintage gardenalia.
A large solid copper trough/bowl that has been hand hammered near the base, a rolled rim and that sits inside a heavy wrought iron stand with three scroll feet.
This piece would make an excellent pot for large plant display. Drainage holes can be added if required. It’s deep enough to created a small freestanding water garden.
A statement trough that could also be used for holding pinecones/kindling beside the outdoor fire or as a centrepiece for a table filled with pots of bulbs or herbs. Trailing ivy looks great and by adding large candles, it makes a great feature.
*please note there is one small hole near the rim where a rivet is missing, as shown in the photo
